Getting There

The two closest airports to San Miguel de Allende are:

Del Bajio International Airport (BJX)

Located in Leon/Guanajuato, approximately 1.5 hours from San Miguel. This is the closest major airport with direct flights from several US cities.

Queretaro International Airport (QRO)

Located in Queretaro, approximately 2.5 hours from San Miguel. Another convenient option with growing international connections.

We recommend flying into BJX for the shortest drive. Private shuttle services are available from both airports.

San Miguel de Allende's historic center is very walkable. For longer distances, taxis and ride services are readily available. The town is compact and charming -- exploring on foot is half the fun!
